On August 24, 79 AD. the volcano Vesuvius caused a devastating eruption: this completely destroyed the ancient cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum which were submerged by the ashes. To date, although excavations always bring new discoveries, these are considered some of the best-known archaeological sites on our planet due to the characteristics that represent them. With our tour, visiting Herculaneum will be a precious experience, aimed at learning about the houses built in the ancient Roman period and which were brought to light thanks to the excavations begun in the 18th century, such as the house of the Deer and the house of Neptune's mosaics and Amphitrite, or the most sought-after places such as the Forum baths or the basilica.
