The Pompeii tour departs from Naples twice a day, every week and throughout the year.
This tour will give you the chance to explore the ancient city of Pompeii, which was submerged in lava and ash after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. However, most of the streets, villas or everyday objects, as well as food products, have been found and kept in an excellent state of preservation.
Pickup will be provided from major hotels located in the center of Naples or from a scheduled meeting point. Either way, it will only take 30 minutes to reach Pompeii from Naples. Our archaeological guide will welcome you at the car park and help you with the purchase of your ticket, thanks to the skip-the-line service.
Once you have entered the most famous archaeological site in the world, you will discover the most interesting news about Pompeii and admire the most important places such as the baths, the Basilica as well as the frescoes of the Lupanare and much more. During the visit, you will also stop at the Macellum. Its "tabernae", famous shops located in the commercial streets, will take you back in time. Last but not least will be the visit to the House of the Faun, a famous villa whose name derives from the type of statue that was found.
You will have the opportunity to take several photos during short stops.

Our Pompeii tour from Naples will last approximately 3 hours but you will spend at least 1.5 to 2 hours inside the Pompeii excavations.
